Dashcam Catches Chevy’s Disastrous Highway Exit
A wild dashcam clip out of New York has left people stunned after a driver attempted a stupid last-second exit across multiple highway lanes, and ended up crashing.
The incident happened on July 23, 2025, when a Chevy SUV suddenly swerved from the far left lane, cutting straight across traffic in a desperate attempt to reach an off-ramp.
The shocking move left the dashcam driver with no chance to avoid a collision, and the SUV slammed into the side of their car.
The Chevy driver immediately jumped out of his car and walked towards the dashcam driver, looking angry and frustrated, which was a bit surprising considering that he was clearly the one at fault. The clip then cuts off, leaving us with no clear idea of what happened next.
The clip, which surfaced on Reddit’s Idiots in Cars community, shows the SUV drifting across the highway before making impact.
The original poster later confirmed that it was their friend involved in the crash, saying: “There’s not a clear conclusion right now unfortunately.”
They also added that the Chevy driver looked drunk when he got out of the car, though the footage cuts off before we see what happened next.
Thankfully, both drivers got away without any injuries, though the SUV driver might be facing some awkward conversations about his driving skills.
Another day, another wallet saved by a dashcam. Because when someone swerves across a highway and then acts like it’s your fault, the video doesn’t lie.
